Davida Jones

I had really fun creating this piece. I love the idea of using vibrant colors in images. This piece is in confrontation with the stereotype that pretty women aren't smart. They claim that the only thing women that fit societal standards of "beautiful" have to offer is their looks. In this image beauty and the brain are in coexistence to show that women can be both beautiful and smart. The pretty colors and use of butterflies and flowers around the brain is a symbol of beauty surrounding the brain.
